Job Description:

We are developing a cutting-edge platform specifically tailored for venture capital firms across Europe. To support our rapidly growing solution, we are seeking a Senior T-SQL Developer with deep expertise in relational database design and star schema modeling.

  • Role Overview:

    As a Senior T-SQL Developer, you will be integral in transforming complex business requirements into efficient and scalable new features. You will work closely with our development team to design, implement, and optimize relational and star schema models while ensuring high performance through various performance tuning techniques.

  • Key Responsibilities:

    • Design and implement relational and star schema models.
    • Translate high-level business requirements into technical solutions.

    Required Skills and Experience:

    • Advanced T-SQL: Expertise in Temporal Tables, Windowing Functions, Common Table Expressions (CTEs), Recursive Queries, and SQL Performance Tuning.
    • Microsoft Database Stack: Extensive experience with SQL Server, SQL Azure, and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
    • Business Intelligence: Hands-on experience with SQL Server Analysis Services, Power BI (Tabular Modeling with DAX), and Azure Data Factory.
    • DevOps & Development: Familiarity with Visual Studio DB Projects, Azure DevOps, Git, and version control.
    • Cloud & Security: Experience with Azure Cloud Computing, user management, and security concepts.
    • Excel Integration: Proficiency in leveraging Excel for data analysis and reporting.

    Nice-to-Have Skills:

    • Languages: German proficiency is a plus.
    • Finance Domain Knowledge: Understanding of financial statements (Balance Sheets, Profit and Loss Statements, Cap Tables).
    • Power BI / Microsoft Fabric: Experience with DAX, Tabular Modeling, and Spark (PySpark and the DataFrame API).
